Anyone play any of the Witcher games? In particular Witcher 3? It's on everyone's best of lists for recent games but I only got through the tutorial/opening story before getting bored. Combat seemed overly complicated too.

Interesting, so setting aside hardware emu in MiSTer (which does sound pretty awesome), why go Pi vs an old PC? Mostly just form factor? IE you'd rather have a tiny little emu box than the full size PC your last PC inevitably was? In other words, it would be way more expensive to build a new mini IT...

This might be a bigger question (but hey we have time, right?) but what are the various pros and cons to using FPGA/MiSTer vs. Raspberry Pi vs. a cheap windows setup for a emu-centric box?

Oh yeah I actually just accidentally corrupted the shield first anyway. Did you beat the first big boss before you explored the other 2 directions? I feel like I could probably beat him after dying twice but also might just come back later.

I saw some extended play from it at E3 last year. Sounded like they were close. Cannot wait. Might go black and play original in anticipation.

I fired up THPS on original Xbox not that long ago (can't remember which one) and it wasn't quite as fun as I remember.

I just beat Ori and the Will of the Wisps y-day. Need to figure out what to do next in console world.

Made the old Japanese yam curry special for Emily's bday last Weds plus a surprise bday cake. Since we didn't have baking powder I used baking soda+lemon juice which worked out pretty well.

I'm about as far removed from HOT new music as I've ever been so any recs are much appreciated. But one thing I'm pretty super into is the new Tame Impala. It's like old Tame Impala plus Cut Copy or something weird and dancy like that.
