What was really cool is that I came in with a guy that didn't reserve a copy so he just went up to the table and grabbed a box and then got in the line to buy it. He was out in like 10 minutes. The people that reserved a copy? Had to wait in two really long lines.

Just stupid. What was the point of reserving it?

AH! In order to play Diablo 3 you MUST have a continuous connection to the internet. There is no way to play Diablo 3 offline.

Heh, instead of Blizzard saying the servers are busy they should just tell everyone, "GO TO BED! There are 20,000,000 people trying to play right now!!! All us Blizzard employees have went home to sleep anyways. We'll see about fixing the game tomorrow or something...or maybe next week."

Please be aware that a delay of up to 40 seconds is possible while the game attempts to connect you. If your connection doesn’t succeed in 40 seconds, you’ll be presented with an Error 37 message and asked to try again. If you see this error it does in fact mean that you should try again. We’ll be working around the clock to keep you informed of any issues that are occurring through the in-game breaking news window, as well as the official forums.

1.) You need to create a battle.net account.
2.) You need to login to Diablo3 with the EMAIL address that you created. If you type an @ symbol, the login lights up.

I know it's stupid, the same thing happened to me. I think it's uber un-intuitive.
