I realize that most no one on this form cares a lick about professional soccer but that is fine - you gotta do your thing... It just happens that my thing right now is being really into professional soccer - so there.

So here it is, the professional soccer thread - even if it is mainly aimed at one person. Guess you gotta go sign up now addy and we can air our comments in the wide open for a few other people to ignore.

While C.Ronaldo is a great player, I'm wondering if I wouldn't rather have someone else on my team.... And I am questioning my decision to start Van Persie over Torres as well...

Who else is still undrafted?

Obviously a lot of great goalies.

Midfielders: Molouda, Ashley Young, Gareth Barry, Xabi Alonso, Deco, Clint Dempsey

Did you know that the Seattle Sounders FC train in Renton at the VMAC with the Seahawks as of January 21st, 2009?

I didn't. I didn't even know what the VMAC was or that the Seahawks train there. Also I had no idea why there is an FC as part of the Sounders name until now.

Are these futbol clubs the thing now?
