Some things I miss about home
Number one is family and friends - but that's kinda obvious.
I totally miss concerts. I heard Talib Kweli was in Seattle last week. Damn! Plus I know I am gonna miss the Audioslave show. errrrrrr.
Jurassic 5 Played here in Feb but it cost something like $80. Whaaaat?!
I miss good beer on tap, but don't miss tipping the bar tender
I miss a nice big bed. Right now I sleep on mat about the thickness of a comforter on the floor. It's really not that bad, but a bed is nicer.
2 words - enchilada combo. It is impossible to find a good Mexican restaurant, and don't even think about finding something on par with Mi Mexico. While I'm on the subject of food, how much did I take a good turkey sandwich for granted?
Those are just a few things. I don't want to sound like I am complaining. None are really all that bothersome, and the goods definitely outweigh the bads. Just trying to spark some conversation.

I miss Fat Tire... you can't get it on draft here to save your life. They do have alot of Samuel Adams on tap here, which I think is wierd.
There are 5000 Mexican restaurants here, and they are cheap as hell. San Diego has Boston Markets, I repeat San Diego has Boston Markets thats all I have to say about turkey sadwiches.

Boston Market?!
You're telling me there are Boston Markets in San Diego?!?!?!
That's it, I am moving there. Why is it that Seattle is the only place they seem to have pulled out of?

Why didn't you tell me Chris Cornell has a new band? I just might have to go check them out this Saturday night.

I think I did tell you. You said something about not liking Rage Aganst the Machine. Maybe you didn't catch the Chris Cornell part because you didn't seem to excited then.
Is the show not sold out?
They are on the Lollapalooza bill as well. Gonna be a great show! The seattle show is amazingly not at the Gorge. It is at some new stadium in Auburn.
Jane's Addiction
Audioslave
Incubus
Queens of the Stone Age
Jurassic 5
more
4 of my favorite bands!
You know anything about the San Diego venue Kevin? I may come join you down there for it.
Did I mention I miss concerts?

It's called the White Ampitheater and it's being built on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation half way from Auburn to Enumclaw. There has been a lot of opposition to it from neighbors but it's finally going through. Supposed to have great acoustics and all, but of course will lack the ethereal beauty of the Gorge.
August 23rd. Tix are on sale now. Should be quite a show.

Damn that Coachella line up is outta control. Talk about music overload. So many good bands of so many different genres of music. Don't think I can make that one though.
LOLLAPALOOZA NEWS:
Queens of the Stone Age will not be appearing at shows in the following cities:
Phoenix
Los Angeles
San Diego
San Francisco
Salt Lake City
Seattle
They have been replaced in these cities by...
A Perfect Circle!!
I'd say thats a pretty fair trade. It would be awesome to hear some new cuts from them.
